MEEI has been guided by a mission that "The deaf may hear and the blind may see"... PLEASE VISIT MY WEBPAGE: www.firstgiving.com/lisarobbins22 OUT OF INSPIRATION From my mother-in-law Judie, who at 70, ran the NYC Marathon in November in 2007. I thought, ‘WOW’ what a great accomplishment, and at any age! I soon adopted a new commitment and by throwing my hat over the fence started saying that I too would run a marathon. Boston ~ here I come!! I’d like to thank my neighbor Carolyn (who by the way, ran the NYC marathon with my mother-in-law!) who forwarded an email to me about joining the MEEI team ~ I was accepted onto the team and I run with great privilege of being with such an elite group of people committed to an amazing cause!! Inspiration comes from many things. It can truly be found in almost anything we see, feel, touch and hear and in our minds eye. What we see inside for ourselves, what we see for people we love and for people who we have never met before. We can give inspiration and hope every day ~ I hope to raise enough money to provide additional training to the professionals who each day provide care to those in need at the MEEI.
